Scholarships Available

logo The Sonoma County Medical Association Alliance in conjunction with the Sonoma County Medical Association sponsors the Health Careers Scholarships.  Since 1965, the medical community has raised funds through its Holiday Greeting Card fundraiser to assist high school seniors entering college or a university. Also eligible to apply are full time students enrolled in medical, nursing school and health-related courses of study.

The Applications will be available online December 5, 2011 and can be downloaded at www.sonomacf.org. The deadline is March 5, 2012.

The Health Careers Scholarship Committee is happy to report that $27,000 in scholarships has been awarded to twelve students. This is an all time high for this committee, up from the $24,000 of last year. We want to thank each and every one who opened their hearts and wallets to this most worthy cause. You may apply directly through the Community Foundation web site.

When is the deadline for submission?

The application deadline is March 5, 2012

When will I be notified if I have received a scholarship?

The Community Foundation will notify you if you have received a scholarship as well as indicating the amount of the award.
