School Based Art Therapy Program for developmentally and emotionally
challenged students to receive mental health services through art therapy for
the 2012-13 school year. The art therapy program provides a safe outlet for
students’ self expression in a unique way, giving fresh insight for the therapist
to assist the student. This will help the students to remain in the special
education classroom and avoid a higher level of care, thereby reducing
