Holiday Season 2011
Since 1962 the Sonoma County Medical Association and Alliance have made a commitment to encourage promising students from Sonoma County to pursue careers in the medical field with assistance from the Health Careers Scholarship Fund. In today's atmosphere of escalating tuition and related costs, many talented students are unable to enter or continue in a medical field without financial assistance.
Our annual Scholarship Holiday Greeting Card Project raises money for the scholarship fund, which provides scholarships to outstanding high school seniors and qualified students at the undergraduate and graduate levels who will enter a medically related field. Featuring art from a local physician or physician's family member, the card extends holiday greetings and recognizes donors to the fund.
